New abilities:

Ionization. Debuff for 24 seconds placed on everyone but the tanks that deals 450k damage when dispelled or expired to the player and anyone within 8 yards. It can be avoided by AMS, Cloak of Shadows, etc. If it goes off in the water, we will all die.

Lightning strike: spawns lightning orbs during Lightning Storm that will travel across the room and kill you. Must avoid the orbs.

Basic strategy:

Very similar to normal mode, but we'll need to be more certain of which corner the tanks are being thrown to so that we make our lives easier after the second thunderstorm (so we have an entire half of the room instead of cornering ourselves after BOTH the second and third thunderstorms). He will always throw to the pillar furthest away, so we can move the boss a bit to ensure he throws where we want.

When Thunderstorm comes out, just spread out a bit (but not too much), and avoid lightning bolts. Great time to use defensive cooldowns and healthstones, as healers will be moving around a lot too. I've got a couple ideas of how we might game the system on this one, but I don't know if they will work. As usual, we'll learn things the normal way and then add variations from there.

Ionization is the real difference maker between normal and heroic, and it will just take coordination and practice. It will come in after 1 minute, and then every 90 seconds thereafter. Rogues, DKs, and mages (occasionally) can avoid the debuff entirely, while warlocks can remove their own and tanks won't get it at all, so we should only have to worry about healers and another couple DPS for dispells. Any time it is dispelled, it must happen OUTSIDE of the water, even if you're removing it off of yourself with cloak of shadows or imp's singe magic. We will simply set up a dispell order and a couple safe places to run when you're having it dispelled.
