Are you applying as discipline or shadow main spec? I've checked your armory a couple times and seen you geared different ways each time. The way you answer will determine how your application will be analyzed.

In looking over your gear and spec I've made note of a few things you can work on that will improve your dps, not having any logs I don't know where you stand now but these things will help for sure.

1. You are 25 points under hit cap - it is 289 for us with 3/3 Misery and 3/3 Shadow Focus. Changing a couple of your yellow gems to sp/hit can be a temporary fix until you get it from gear. For example, the offhand from Lady Deathwhisper 10 would fix it with one piece, and she's a relatively simple boss to get to. Most pugs get first 4 at least. Or the ICC craftable boots (more on this later).

2. Never gem sp/crit - if it is a yellow socket gem Reckless Ametrine for sp/haste (or sp/hit if absolutely necessary). Blue sockets, Purified Dreadstones for sp/spirit if bonus is +7 or more spellpower, rest are all Runed Cardinal Rubies for straight spellpower.

3. Sliver of Pure Ice is not a good trinket for us. You would be much better off farming the Abyssal Rune from regular ToC5, or the Nevermelting Ice Crystal from heroic Pit of Saron, for that slot. Depending on your luck with drops, either of those would be relatively quick and simple upgrades.

4. How far are you from your 4pc T10? Our 4pc bonus is absolutely amazing and a huge DPS increase. Getting 4pc should be your first priority for Frost emblem purchases.

5. Depending on your access to primordial saronites, the crafted pants and boots would be upgrades for you. I briefly mentioned craftable boots and hit earlier... if you have 5 primordials, the Deathfrost Boots would give you +24 hit, essentially solving your hit problem and eliminating the need to gem for it.

6. No glaring weird things in your spec. I would recommend picking up Inner Focus (I like to use this with SW:P since the crit bonus stays with it, or with Divine Hymn in the oh-shit moments) and Improved Vampiric Embrace, since our shadow heals can get up to some huge numbers depending on the fight. I would move the 3 points from Focused Mind for those.

7. What is your opening rotation? Do you use any mods to track your dots?
