Run these two scripts in macros in the order listed when you log in

/script GameTooltip.Temphide = function() GameTooltip:Hide() end; GameTooltip:SetScript("OnShow", GameTooltip.Temphide);

then this one

/script GameTooltip:SetScript("OnShow", GameTooltip.Show);
