Looks like we need to recruit a disc priest or a holy one.

I'll just force a shadow priest to respec with some "alternative interrogation" techniques.

Comments in tankspot saying that its much more easier to do this now. and there's no need for 24.5 billion disc priest casting smite to heal the raid. but maybe it wont hurt to have more disc priest cause there's still gonna be tons of damage at the start of the pull. basically, same fight as the reg with more of everything.

Tanks (Obzen included!):
We will release 3 drakes and the whelps, leaving the slate drake chained. 3 of you will handle 2 drakes + halfus, all three will be involved in the taunt rotation. The 4th tank will handle the first DPS target drake, along with the whelps. When the first drake is dead, the idea will be for that tank to taunt away the drake from the tank that HAS the healing debuff, and that drake will be the next DPS target.
What this means: until the first drake is dead, the halfus tanks will need to switch pretty frequently, and the tank that was just on halfus will still have to tank a drake with the healing debuff on him, so the fewer stacks the better. After that first drake is dead, then the tank that was on Halfus should then not have to tank anything, so he will be able to wait until his stacks drop off before tanking anything again. This will help a lot with healing, but until that first drake is dead it will be exceptionally difficult, so the tanking rotation will have to be quicker and very precise.

Fright, did you notice that the tankspot vid had a note the entire video that said approximately that 4.06 changes made disc priests not as necessary and drakes should be pulled one by one.

I do know that disc priests are not necessary, but the method I was planning on trying was not to pull the drakes one by one. The link and the tank stuff I mentioned is for post-4.06 stuff.

We are going to be DOING Heroic Halfus on Monday, study him up, know what to do, and be prepared to kill a boss. Come prepared at 6:30 PM server to kick ass and take names. Also take a look at the Heroic V/T fight.

This one shouldn't be a big problem if everyone reads up.

Uh. It's nice to look ahead and everything, but if you're gonna look up a heroic fight, be looking at Chimareon and Maloriak for next Tuesday. V&T is arguably the hardest heroic boss before the end bosses + sinestra.

I agree, but when we kill Halfus HM, I would to at least, do at least one attempt on V/T HM. Its not gonna be a wipefest on them for no reason, people still need gear before HM's and we still need to perfect a lot of fights prior to HM's to successfully move into them. How can we master the impossible if we ourselves do not seek to master the everyday things?
