Ay, more like 4-5gb. Still took me all afternoon to download yesterday, but I beat it in about 3 hours on a wizard (by "beat it" I mean the beta, which covers what I guess is all of Act 1 and gets you to about level 10). Of course I was supposed to be writing a ten page paper, but who wants to write a paper on a friday night?
Anyway, it was fun. Kept my interest for 3 hours at least. It's not nearly as customizable as Diablo 2 was. You don't have any control over your stats, and you learn every skill automatically. The only real choices to make are which skills you want to use at the moment, and the only price you pay is a 5 second delay on the skill after you put it on your bar. At least half the fun of Diablo 2 was creating all the different types of the same class and trying new things and such, but I guess it does eliminate the need for muling programs, hero editors, and endless leveling. It felt more than a little like Diablo the second and WoW had an illegitimate love child, and named it Diablo the third.
I've still not decided if I'll buy it. Maybe I'll wait until they get the first expansion out or something...

Yea I meant 3-5gb /duh
Only played a Demon Hunter and Witch Doctor so far
Prob gonna end up playing the other classes through on hardcore just to get an idea.
So far not sure if i care for the demon hunter. The point and click movement makes it tough to run and gun so I keep getting pummeled more than I prob should be /shrug
The Witch Doctor however was super easy to finish the beta on hardcore with. The demon dogs combined with those spider things you throw once u get the ranged version make it almost a cheesy/too easy class
Prob do the wizzard next

I have a level 13 Demon Hunter and a level 13 Witch Doctor. Going to do the others for the achievements.
Someone do the Co-op achievements with me.

I convinced my friends to try it out and I finished all the co-op achieves in about an hour. The beta is much more fun with a group, though.
