Passing isn't bad. Patriots are going to expect a run. The problem is passing over the middle where New England had extra defenders for 90% of the game. Hindsight is always 20/20, and if the play would have resulted in a touchdown people would be calling Wilson a play calling genius.

Fair point. Still, it seemed an awful lot like a dumb call at the time.

It wasn't the worst call but I may have waited until 3rd down to call it and I would have had Matthews as my primary target not Lockette.
That being said watching the Seachickens lose like that was the next best thing to the 9ers winning one!
