Quote: | Name : Subvert
Game : World of Warcraft
Server : US - Suramar
Level : 85
Gender : Male
Faction : Alliance
Race : Human
Class : Hunter
Spec 1 : Marks
Spec 2 : Survival
WoW Armory
WoW Heroes
You age::
21-29
Name, class, and spec of the character you are applying with::
Brandon , Hunter , Primary - MM / Secondary - SV
If available, please provide a link to a recent WoW Web Stats, World of Logs, etc. :
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/suramar/subvert/simple
Are you able to consistently make all of our raid times? (Mon, Tues, Wed 6:30-9:30 PST):
Yes
Please provide a **brief** history of your WoW playtime, raiding experience, former guilds, etc.:
Completed raids in vanilla , Burning Crusade , and Wrath. Was part of HLC in vanilla and independent guilds throughout BC and Wrath.
How did you hear about our guild, and why have you decided to apply?:
I was informed about the guild from a friend and was intrigued from the praise that was given. The guilds I was in for the most part were very casual oriented and I would like to experience a more structure based guild.
In contrast to our relaxed guild atmosphere, our raids can be very demanding, as we hold ourselves to a high standard. What is your attitude towards raiding and doing what it takes to succeed at a high level?:
I feel that succeeding would require myself and others to watch videos and read strats from different sources to understand different ways to complete a fight. If things go awry you should be able to cope with it and adjust with the flow of things. Not only having a knowledge of fights but knowing class mechanics and how to benefit one another. Any advice that could possibly benefit the raid itself should be helpfully contributed.
Which of these do you feel you most intimately relate to?:
Unicorn
Among the following, which would you rather see?:
nothing ever again
Please explain your previous two answers in no less than 10,000 words.:
Well, everybody knows Unicorn Charlie. And god it's addicting.
Thank you for your interest in our guild, we will get back to you shortly on the status of your application.

I meant to address this in my application , but it for some reason flew by my mind. I have yet to kill any bosses in Cataclysm for lack of not being in a guild and or finding a group capable of working together to accomplish kills. But I am confident that i could execute a fight properly after researching the fights. I've raided ex content with The All Mighty back in SSC and adapted to the fights quickly. I understand that progression means mix-maxing as much as possible within the means available. I've worked to gear my toon to the best I can with the content available with the understanding that AoR is a progressing into heroic raiding content. And I will contribute how I can to help catch up not only in myself but to the guild itself as a whole.

Whenever possible we prefer to disenchant bows that drop. How do feel you will be able to handle this?

Do you think whatever caused you to not be able to look for a good raiding guild/raid in Cataclysm might happen again in the near future?
Best of luck to you.

To address this in order :
Griiiiiiimmer - I would take it with stride , in fact even have a shot every time it happens =)
Fright - Thanks for the rapid response and hope to hear back from you.
Lydecker - The whole issue of not being in a guild previously was due to a car issue at home which has been resolved and wont affect my game play again.
